Private schools: Summer camps to be monitored

The department has allowed private schools to arrange summer camps for students of grades five, eight, nine and ten.

FAISALABAD: The Education Department would monitor summer camps organised by private schools in the city.  Executive District Officer (Education) Naveed Ahmad said that the assistant education officers had been assigned the task. The department has allowed private schools to arrange summer camps for students of grades five, eight, nine and ten. Ahmad said the camps were allowed from 7am to 10:30am. Provision of cold drinking water and shade were mandatory. He said schools had been directed not to charge students for the summer camps.
