NICL case: Amin Fahim’s bail extended

The bail was set at Rs0.5 million.

KARACHI: The Federal Anti-Corruption Court extended Pakistan People Party leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim’s bail in the NICL land scam case due to the absence of the state lawyer till May 30.

The bail was set at Rs0.5 million. The police, meanwhile, told the court that another suspect Amir Hussain, who was at large, has been arrested and the police have been granted his physical custody till May 30 by the relevant magistrate.

The court had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Fahim, former commerce secretary Suleman Ghani, two NICL directors Amin Qasim Dada and Javed Syed, Khalid Anwar and Amir Hussain in the multi-million rupee land scam on April 2.
