Political leaders, who have been elected to K-P seats on May 11, will take oath during the session.
K-P chief minister designate Pervaiz Khattak has asked authorities to not block traffic outside the assembly building on the session day.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) managed to win 35 seats out of 99, emerging as the party with most seats.
The Imran Khan-led party is set to form alliance with Jamaat-e-Islami and Qaumi Watan Party in the province. Khattak had said that all issues related to forming a coalition government, including assigning ministries, have been resolved.

@CaptainJanjua:
Good. Now move to FATA and wave a PTI flag. See how long you last there.
this is the day for which PPP sacrifice so much. Completing five year and transferring power to newly elected government is the biggest achievement of PPP. This how you defeat establishment and their cronies PML, PTI and JI and JUF.
And InshAllah we will be the first to form an ideal government to be followed by others!
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa! First to pick a caretaker government; first to dissolve assembly; first to elect PTI; first to form coalition government; first to assign ministries; and now first to call assembly into session! Democratic efficiency at its best! Well done!
