Si Robertson, the beloved 'Duck Dynasty' star known as Uncle Si, has been the subject of false death rumors after a Facebook post from the page 'Back the Badge Wisconsin' claimed he had passed away in January 2025.

The post, which read, "Duck Dynasty’s Uncle Si has passed today. He was 78 years young," quickly spread online, causing confusion among fans.

The rumors appear to have originated from a recent hunting accident Robertson experienced, which kept him from appearing on a recent taping of his 'Duck Call Room' podcast. Robertson had suffered an injury after falling while exiting a boat after a hunting trip, leading to hospitalization. The situation was misinterpreted, and the erroneous claim of his death followed. However, followers of the 'Back the Badge Wisconsin' page quickly debunked the misinformation, clarifying that Robertson was alive and recovering.

Robertson’s 'Duck Call Room' podcast co-hosts, Phillip McMillan and Justin Martin, confirmed that the star is recuperating from the accident. Martin explained that Robertson had fallen trying to get out of the boat, saying, "If you don’t go off the nose of the boat like the very nose, you will fall. I know this because I have fallen right there."

This is not the first time rumors of Robertson’s death have circulated. In 2021, a similar hoax arose, which was debunked by social media. While Robertson has yet to address the latest rumors himself, fans can rest assured that he is recovering and will likely respond once he's fully back on his feet.

Si Robertson, known for his role on 'Duck Dynasty', is also a retired reed maker for Duck Commander, a veteran, and a co-host of the 'Duck Call Room' podcast.
