@Muhammad Shafiq Asif:
Sir Jee. Research is mainly conducted in English Language. Today English is the Language of Science, technology and research. Chinese are only copying the ideas. When Chinese General few years back went to US, there he said that China is legging behind US for almost 20 years in science and technology, US should not afraid of us. By the way I like your sentence "Language is learned to get penetrate in the research and knowledge of the nation".
Farman Nawaz,
Language is not learned only for Job. Language is learned to get penetrate in the research and knowledge of the nation or country and to work mutually.
Chinese are learning English while we will start learning Chinese. Stupid Idea. how much Pakistanis Chinese markets can absorb? If China starts giving us jobs like Arab countries, European countries and US, then definitely we must learn Chinese otherwise it is just waste of time. By the way why China is not ready to give us bail package like S. Arabia to let us handle load shedding problem? Chinese relations are just confined to Pak army. It was China whose President or PM( I have forgotten exactly) said that Zia is the interpreter of the real Pakistani wishes.
Yes, I believe learning Chinese will be very beneficial as Chinese is one of the most widely spoken language besides English. Learning Mandarin Chinese would help us access new opportunities, A good relationship with China would help our economy as it is. Nevertheless, Our people must embrace the Chinese Language and not reject it, Some of our people are too blind to see the possibilities.
A good gesture we should respond positively, there is no harm in learning foreign language especially that of an economic superpower.
China is the world's next super power and learning Chinese will be very beneficial for Pakistan. Even in Australia and New Zealand the government is pushing students to learn Chinese and become proficient at it to secure top jobs.
