Bajaur Agency: Free seeds, fertiliser distributed to farmers

Assistant Political Agent assured farmers the government’s support in the future to strengthen the agriculture sector.

The political administration in Bajaur Agency distributed free agricultural inputs, including certified maize seeds and fertiliser, among 500 small growers on Friday.


Assistant Political Agent of Khar, Asad Sarwar, distributed the seeds in a bid to boost crop productivity in the region. The distribution event was held at the agriculture department in Civil Colony where Sarwar was the guest of honour. The farmers who were given the material were registered members of the Farm Services Centre (FSC).



Federally Administered Tribal Area Secretariat Special Project (FSSP) Development Officer Saleem Khan, agriculture experts Miftahuddin and Rahmatuddin, among others were also in attendance. In his address, Sarwar congratulated the farmers and stressed the farming inputs be utilised according to suggestions of experts and in a manner that yields maximum productivity.

He assured them the government’s support in the future to strengthen the agriculture sector.

Such informations are always very good. This image shows the fertilizer from Poland, is not it? I think I saw a similar photo on the blog of one of the producers of nitrogen fertilizers ... http://goo.gl/PGFjk It would be great for the farmers, because its products are of the highest quality.
