Kidnapping?: Four doctors go missing

They were also told the DI Khan police had started a search operation.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Four doctors en route to the city from Peshawar in a private vehicle are suspected to have been kidnapped by unidentified men near Taja Zai area in Lakki Marwat, a Ghazni Khel police official said on Wednesday.

The officials said they were informed by DI Khan police at 9pm on Tuesday that the doctors, with whom contact was last made in Taja Zai area, were missing. They were also told the DI Khan police had started a search operation.

The four doctors – identified as Dr Farmanullah, Dr Khalid Mehmood, Dr Asadullah and Dr Rahim Gul – were due to participate in a laptop distribution ceremony at the District Headquarters Teaching Hospital, DI Khan on Wednesday morning.
