Khyber Agency: LI militants torch tribesmen’s houses

BARA: A dozen houses belonging to pro-government militia members and Kamar Khel political administration officials were torched by Lashkar-e-Islam (LI) militants in Tirah Valley of Khyber Agency on Monday.

According to reports, LI militants attacked the houses of Kamar Khel tribesmen who have raised an armed militia against the LI, preventing them from taking control of the entire valley.

In the early hours of morning, LI militants rushed towards the mountainous villages in Takhtakai, Langro Kallay, and Tora Lagad and torched 11 houses, including two that belonged to political administration officials.
