Ashraf Sugar Mills (ASM) stunned Pak-Afghan Clearing Agency (PACA) 4-1 a day after the latter defeated defending champions KRL to record an upset in the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Challenge Cup 2013 in Bahawalpur.


ASM won their first match of the tournament with two goals from Muhammad Shahbaz, while Muhammad Azeem and Muhammad Naveed scored one apiece.

PACA had earlier defeated KRL 2-1 for their second win in three matches that enabled them to qualify for the quarter-finals.

In other results, KRL beat HBL 1-0 to qualify for the quarter-finals. Kaleemullah scored the winner in the 17th minute.

In another Group D match, HEC thrashed Bahawalpur 6-1. Pakistan Army also qualified for the last-eight after a 2-1 win over PIA.
