ISLAMABAD: The former president of Balochistan chapter of Awami National Party (ANP), Aurangzeb Kasi has said that he had not addressed a news conference on his decision to resign from the party office and its basic membership.

He said that he was not forming any group in the ANP nor was he in any contact with Mrs Nasim Wali Khan, the widow of ANP’s late leader Khan Abdul Wali Khan.

“It was my own decision to quit the party,” he said. “I have advised all activists of ANP who contacted me after my resignation, to continue their struggle in the party,” he added.
