Poll arrangements: KTH appreciates staff’s performance

Dr Khan appreciated the hospital staff for their performance on Election Day.

Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Umar Ayub Khan appreciated the hospital staff for their performance on Election Day on the directives of the provincial government. In a press release issued from the KTH on Tuesday, Khan said all emergency measures were taken by the hospital on May 11. It further stated that 100 beds were reserved in the Orthopaedic and Surgical wards of the hospital along with medicines, drips and other material. It added the CEO, Medical Superintendent and the Principal Administrative Officer of the KTH remained vigilant and kept a check on the attendance of the doctors. The ones not present were ordered to immediately report to duty.
