The former leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhary Nisari Ali Khan from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was edged out even though he secured 102,142 votes. His opponent from the PTI managed to get 110,308 votes.
PTI supporters have recently taken to the streets across Pakistan protesting against the alleged rigging that took place in the general elections on Saturday.

@ahmed: With all due respect, a very ignorant statement you've made. If you can read, you would known, PTI was right in demanding a recount and hence the result. Understand this; it's not about being a sore loser it's about winning on merit and PML N have NOT won on merit. Once justice is served, there's plenty of time to congratulate Nawaz.
@ahmed: Did you actually read the article or is it your habit to moan for no reason ? The difference is approx. 7000+ votes on a recount. How could this be an error in the first place ? Errors are made when a few hundred votes were not counted properly.
PTI is entirely justified in their protests. And this is a good example.
@ahmed:
Mr ahmed, you do realize that PTI's base support are urban and not rural areas? How is it then that they have barely won any seats in these urban areas? Where are the votes of the population that compromises most of its supporters? This talk about how PTI should stop being bad losers is ridiculous, this is not a cricket match, this is about the abuse of a system that should ensure free and fair elections. I am not a PTI supporter and find all this talk ridiculous, you can't be a bad loser if the winner's won by fraud, because that's not really winning, so please re-consider your juvenile opinions, or at least make a logical argument against the protests.
@Ahmed @Muslim Leaguer

Probably the only constituency where the total Vote count exceeded 210,000. Seems rigging but who cares when rigging favours PTI ??? Double standards of PTI ,
@ahmed: Whats a little rigging to you when your leader wants to break up Pakistan. What is the more serious issue here?
@ahmed: PTI accepted all the results (win or loss) except where there is over whelming evidence of rigging for example Lahore and Karachi. People like you are perfect example of "Jahil Kaum" and reason we have a choors/defaulters as our PMs. Whether there is 1 incident of cheating/rigging or 1000 incidents, people have right to demand fairness and justice in election process. PTI admitted that PMLN has won majority of seats but that doesn't mean that people should not protest if there is foul play in some areas. Only in Pakistan a person fighting for his rights is called a "Sore Loser" or "Cry Baby". In rest of the democratic World it is called fight for justice. These were the most dishonest and rigged elections in Pakistan history. The reason only Lahore and Karachi were exposed is because people are educated and not afraid anymore to come out and fight for their rights. Also media and cell phones helped in gathering evidence in big cities. I am pretty sure same thing must have happened in small cities too but due lack of evidence, technology, and poor people being scared to come out, all the rigging went unnoticed.
As per PTI definition PMLn should protest here because of rigging
obviously you cry mr.ahmed when you lose. But the loss PTI faced was more than a shock. Massive rigging in NA-250 and other constituencies of Karachi followed by rigging in Lahore. I have friends who had guns pointed at their heads to vote in favor of other parties and this is not just one person. You can find a gazillion videos on the social media regarding the rigging in many areas of the country.
Tell me this, how is it even possible to have upto 300% voters that is 200% more than the voters registered for the polling stations. Only last night Geo News released a report carried out by independent election surveyors who reported rigging in atleast 49 polling stations. NA-122 was one of them. If 300% voter turn out is not rigging than kindly tell me what is?
Al hamdollilah, what a great news. Allah is Great.
pti only crying foul when they lose. They are full of double standards. They got more seats in KP and pmnl's heavyweights like nisar, hanif abbasi lost their seats. PTI is happy to accept these results but not where they lost. Grow up for God's sake and move forward. Take a page from Bilour who lost his seat and straight away accepted the defeat and congratulated imran khan.
Yesssssss!
