Road accident: Police constable killed

The police arrested the driver and registered a case against him.

RAWALPINDI: A police constable was killed after being hit by a speeding car in Rawalpindi on Saturday morning. Constable Tajuddin of the Civil Lines Police Station was deputed on election duty. As he was leaving the police station on his motorcycle, a speeding Honda City (RLD-803) driven by Azeem Saeed Khan, a resident of the Airport Housing Society, hit the bike, seriously injuring the policeman. He was taken to District Headquarters Hospital with broken legs and a head injury, but died before getting any medical assistance. The police arrested the driver and registered a case against him.
