@Kashif
Correcting your Math.
Average Votes Cast in 10 Hours in a booth = 935
Average Votes Cast in 1 Hours in a booth = 935/10=93.5 Average Vote CAst in a Minute = 93.5/60= 1.55
So it needed 45 seconds to cast a vote .
NA-246 Karachi 1. Nabil Gabool (MQM): 180 000 2. Naseem (Jamat-i-Islami): 7000 Total votes cast in 10 hours = 187,000 Total Booths in NA 246= 200 Average vote casted in 1 booth during 10 hours= 935 Average Votes cast in 1 hour or 60 minutes at 1 booth--935/60=15.6
Please Note this ratio implies on 200+ booths. so it is quite normal to cast 15 or 16 votes in 1 hour. Please do not give calculations until it is not confirmed.
The calculations mentioned above are only for the votes obtained by one candidate, who won the election by the great (you all understand what is the meaning of great here) support of the so called POLITICAL party. They are a group of criminal gangsters, who have never represented muhajirs nor their traditions. They are always striving for their own progress.
Here the votes obtained by other candidates are not included, which will further boost the height of your surprise. Actually all such facts need to be send to the authorities who should view these facts and take right decisions in the betterment of the country and on time. Those who are proud of their such illegal victory, are actually the culprits and having not enough abilities to understand this beforehand.
So love Pakistan and strive for its progress, and highlight and condemn those who are against this. These are the responsibilities of true Pakistani and of course as a muslim our religion also tells us to be positive and strengthen those who are right and condemn those who are wrong. Our religion has given us a enough details about how to distinguish between right and wrong. So be Pakistani and love Pakistan.
@Shoaib adding a tiny bit to your calculations
No of polling stations: 213 No of polling booths: 769
evenly dividing the votes on booths gives you = 187,000 / 769 = 243 now moving on with your calculations
Votes cast in 1 hour or 60 minutes = 1/10 x 243 = 24.3 = 24 Votes cast in 1 minute or 60 seconds = 1/60 x 24 = 0.4 Votes cast in 1 second = 1/60 x 0.4 = 0.0012
Now I don't need to put in some slogan that who are the literates and blah blah crap.
@Shoaib: can you please write how many polling stations were there in that constituency so your maths will stand corrected? please
@Zaidi: janab time spent on 1 vote casting is about 10 to 15 min
@Shoaib: This constituency had 200+ polling stations and there are 10-20 booths in each polling station.
@Shoaib:
NA 246 is a combination of many polling booths (200+). So what is so surprising about 3 votes per second!??
There are too many polling stations in NA-246 so many muhajir came outside to support their party MQM.
This is victory MQM style, when voters turn up to cast their vote they are told: "Tumhara vote dal gaya hai, ghar jaoo". No wonder MQM wins Karachi seats everytime!!
NA-246 Karachi 1. Nabil Gabool (MQM): 180 000 2. Naseem (Jamat-i-Islami): 7000
Total votes cast in 10 hours = 108,000 Votes cast in 1 hour or 60 minutes = 1/10 x 108 000 = 10,800 Votes cast in 1 minute or 60 seconds = 1/60 x 18 700 = 180 Votes cast in 1 second = 1/60 x 180 = 3
How on earth can 3 people cast vote per second? Does NA-246 Karachi have some advanced voting technology nobody else in the world knows about? The overseas Pakistanis could have sure used it.
I think the results are wrong. MQM votes are about two lacs.
Only Altaf bhai \m/ !!
