Two bombs were defused from in Frontier Region (FR) Peshawar, the semi-autonomous tribal belt, the bomb were both planted on the wall of the polling station.

Army, which was deployed in the area after 21 levies force men were brutally killed by militants, rushed to the site.

Since the device was a time bomb, security officials could not wait for the bomb disposal squad and neutralized the explosive by firing because of which the polling station was damaged.

No female voters turned up at the constituency because of threats from Taliban after several appeals of the administration and elders of the village.
