Announce new schedule for sensitive constituencies: PPP

Polling stations where polling started late should be given full eight hours for voting, says Taj Haider.

KARACHI: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Taj Haider, while addressing a press conference in Karachi, asked the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to improve security condition and to free the polling stations which were captured.

“After getting the captured polling stations free, a new polling schedule should be formulated for those areas,” said Haider.

He further said, “The stations where polling started late they should be given full eight hours before closing the polls in the respective constituencies.”
