Law and order: Violence in the city claims two lives
An owner of a bakery shop was gunned down after refusing extortionists’ demand for money.
KARACHI:
The bullet-riddled body of a police constable, 28-year-old Syed Ali Abbas Kazmi, was found from near Sir Syed college, within the jurisdiction of the Rizvia police station. In another incident, an owner of a bakery shop was gunned down within the jurisdiction of the Mauripur police station after refusing extortionists’ demand for money. The victim lived in the same area he was gunned down. The body was moved to Civil hospital for autopsy.
