Late last week, unknown armed assailants shot dead the ANP's candidate in NA-254 in Karachi's Bilal Colony.
Sadiq Zaman Khattak was contesting elections from the constituency of NA-254. He was attacked by unknown assailants when he exited the local mosque, Rehmania Masjid, with his four-year-old-son Ahmed.
Khattak died on the spot, while son was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Elections for NA-254 were subsequently postponed..

I request ANP to withdraw thier candidates from Karachi and Hyderabad in Favour of MQM which can return favour by withdrawing its candidate in KPK in favour of ANP.

Zardari's politics are budding once again. I won't be suprised if in the coming days MQM or/and PML-Q also go for seat adjustment with PPP. This may not be the only way but it will once again give them the majority for sure. Even if they don't the treasury benches, it will be difficult for the next government to overcome their collectie opposition. Moreover, this is also the only way out for us as a nation. As we can live without three meals and electricity, but we can never afford Taliban dictating us and formulating our policies.

My condolences for Mr. Sadiq Zaman Khattak and his son, it is a pity we live in such a sad state.
For me, withdrawal of ANP candidates from Sindh means that ANP does not have popular mandate in Sindh.
No significance at all.
