Election symbol: Bahadar told to approach ECP

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Tuesday told Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan Secretary General Qari Zawar Bahadar to approach the Election Commission to solve the problem of a misprint involving his election symbol on the ballot. The petition was heard as an ‘objection case’. The registrar’s office had found the petition non-maintainable. Bahadar had submitted that the election commission had allotted him the ‘key’ symbol but had printed a dressing table on the ballot papers instead.
