KARACHI: A man, 32-year-old Fahim Shafiq, was killed and six people, including a five-year-old girl, Quratulain, were wounded during a clash in Landhi. DSP Mirza Ahmed Baig said that the deceased and injured were caught in a crossfire between the two political parties. Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) has, however, claimed that the deceased was affiliated with their party and had been gunned down by members of a rival party. Police officials conducted a search operation after the incident and detained nine people. They also seized four Kalashnikovs, a G-3 rifle, six 9mm pistols and a 7mm rifle.
