KARACHI: The Sindh law department has digitalised all the laws under the Sindh Code 1823 (pdf), which will now be available on its website.

Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan inaugurated the Sindh Code at Governor House on Thursday.

Dr Khan said that the law and order situation in the province is worsening with each passing day and there is a need to come up with radical amendments in the existing laws to deal with the anti-social elements. Justice, he said, is very important to ensure peace in a society.

The Sindh Code would also be helpful for law students in looking up the laws promulgated in the last 190 years with ease, the governor added.
