Attack on corner meeting: Two MQM workers gunned down

Unknown assailants on a motorcycle fired multiple shots.

HYDERABAD: Two workers of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were gunned down in an armed attack on a corner meeting in Mehmood Ground, Latifabad.

Unknown assailants on a motorcycle fired multiple shots that left Nadeem Ajmeri, a  joint in-charge of Latifabad Unit 5, and Manzoor Pehalwan, a worker, injured.

Both the victims later died at the hospital. Manzoor is survived by his wife while Ajmeri leaves behind a widow and three children. Both of them were campaigning for NA-219 and PS-48.

The police  have filed the case against unidentified men at B-Section police station.
