KARACHI: The city took slow and measured steps to recovery on Sunday - the third day of mourning announced by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) within a week. The city has been hit by seven bomb blasts targeting members of MQM, Awami National Party and PPP since April 23. At least 25 people have been killed in these blasts and hundreds others wounded. The funeral prayers of people who lost their lives in Saturday’s blasts were held on Sunday. Police has acquired CCTV footage of the Qasba Colony blasts. “The footage proved to be useless as it only showed people running and trying to save their lives,” said DSP Zahid Hussain. “It didn’t reveal any evidence of any group or individual planning or carrying out the blast.”
