Bangladesh closed in on a series-levelling victory as Zimbabwe were left reeling at 138 for four at stumps on the fourth day of the second and final Test, requiring another 263 runs to win at the Harare Sports Club.

Chasing 401, Zimbabwe suffered regular setbacks with both openers sent back with the score at just 66, according to ESPNcricinfo. Vusi Sibanda scored 32, while Regis Chakabva could only manage 22.

Brendan Taylor and Malcolm Waller, who were involved in a gutsy partnership in the first-innings, could not repeat their performance and were dismissed for 10 and 15 respectively. However, Hamilton Masakadza scored an unbeaten 46 to help the hosts take the game into the final day.

Earlier, captain Mushfiqur Rahim (93) helped Bangladesh reach 291 for nine before the team declared to set an imposing 401-run target.
