SARGODHA: Sportsmen have expressed concern over the district administration’s decision to grant permission to hold political rallies at the Sargodha Sports Stadium.

Players from the Sargodha Cricket Association and local clubs said public rallies would destroy the pitch and damage the outfield. They said allowing such gatherings at the stadium would set a bad precedence. DCO Waqas Ali said they had allowed public rallies in the stadium because of the security situation.
