Roadside bombs: Landmine kills one, injures three

A political administration official said the incident occurred at 8am around four kilometers away from Parachinar.

A tribesman was killed and three others injured when a tractor ran over an anti-tank mine planted along the road near Parachinar Sports Complex in Kurram Agency on Thursday.


A political administration official said the incident occurred at 8am around four kilometers away from Parachinar.

Javed Hussain Tori, his brother Jabir Hussain Tori, Dilshad Hussain and Ashraf Ali were on their way to work from Sara Galla to Parachinar when the incident occurred. Javed was killed on the spot.

The injured were rushed to Agency Headquarters Hospital by officials of the Kurram levies.

“Two of the injured were referred to a hospital in Peshawar,” the official added.
