“We have to try to defeat these electables. This will bring a revolution,” said Hasan.
Criticising them, he said that such people are answerable for the looting. “They came to power five times and made government, but did nothing for the nation.”
Addressing the youth he said, “Justice is not possible without Shariah.”
Earlier in April, The JI had announced its manifesto for the upcoming general elections. The document comprised several ambitious goals, including wiping out terrorism, lawlessness, unemployment, energy crises and the unequal distribution of wealth.
One of the main points in JI’s manifesto is that the party will strive to eliminate corruption and free the national exchequer from plunderers.

If it was not for JI, PML(N) would have never won previous elections from Punjab. PTI should keep its policy clean.
I'm a PTI supporter and I'll be a happy man if JUI-F and JI meet their demise in upcoming elections even if PTI fails take the majority.
i agree electables have to be defeated
@Arzoo:
You diagnosed the JI disease very accurately. The JI founders sneaked into Pakistan after the opposed its creation. Why?
JI are nothing but peddlers of religion. They seek power and control by selling the copyright to Islam. Had they been a sincere Islamic organization who were interested in eradicating the ill that have devoured the society, they would not have poisoned religion with politics.
After all, isn't political Islam an oxymoron, a hypocrisy?
Such a paradox that JI is doing seat adjustments with the very same "previously elected electables" from PML(N) to help them win
In younger days, we used to know students who would languish in college for years, and were known as 'professional students.' Jamaat e Islami is similar. JI has contested elections now for over 50 some years and from getting 5 to 6 seats years ago, now their numbers have dwindled down even more. How long do you go on, before you call it quits and move to a more lucrative avocation?? For an organized and disciplined body like the Jamaat, do they even have a council or a committee in their party that would ponder over this question?? Surely, they could do much good and be more productive if they would dedicate themselves as a social movement to eradicate the evils of dowry (jahez), watta-satta, vani, karo-kari, bribery, nepotism, and provincialism. Surely, they could spread the Islamic message of love, brotherhood, equality, justice, cleanliness, organization, discipline, and unity in society through education and training. Politics is not the only means for social change, specially if you have failed in it for more than half a century. After 17 days from today, after the election results are out, would the Jamaat convene an internal meeting to discuss and debate a better manifesto and a 'mission statement' for their esteemed organization????
I see almost 100% of an agreement between Imran Khan (PTI) and Munawar Hassan (JI) messages. Both wish to defeat status quo parties, bring justice and new leadership to the assemblies but unfortunately both are being bullied by hawks in their respective parties. Wish they could join hands and turn the table on corrupts in places like Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, and KPK especially Peshawar valley and Malakand.
