Tragedy: Man dies in road accident

The police lodged a case against the driver but no arrest had been made till the filing of this report.

MANDRA: A man was killed in a road accident in Mandra on Monday. Abdul Majeed lodged a report with the police that his nephew, Muhammad Rafaqat, was hit and killed by a speeding car (RIA-278) while he was crossing the GT Road near Mandra. The driver of the car, Yasir Mehmood, reportedly escaped. The body was handed over to the victim’s family after medico-legal formalities, said a police official. The police lodged a case against the driver but no arrest had been made till the filing of this report.
