Heinous Crime: Man arrested for raping daughter

She said her father forgot to lock the room one day, so she escaped and went to the nearest police station.

A man was arrested on Saturday for allegedly raping his daughter for the past six months, Civil Lines SHO Amir Ghouri told The Express Tribune.


A 24-year old, filed a complaint against her father, Allah Bukhsh, a resident of Basti Bukhara, Faisal Colony, for raping her over a period of six months.

She said that her mother lived in Dera Ghazi Khan while she had stayed with her father.

According to the woman, her father would rape her and lock her in her room when he left for work each day.

She said he forgot to lock the room one day, so she escaped and went to the nearest police station to lodge a complaint.

The police went to Bukhsh’s residence and arrested him, Ghouri said.

An FIR under 163/13-376 of the Pakistan’s Penal Code was registered against Buksh, he said.

To ascertain rape, samples have been sent to the Punjab Forensic Science Laboratory in Lahore. The report can take up to a month, said Ghauri.
