Election Arrangements: Ambulance service to be expanded

BAHAWALPUR: The district government has decided to expand its ambulance service to tehsil level for the general elections. This will be done with the cooperation of the Health Department and Rescue 1122. DCO Imran Sikandar Baloch said that the health EDO had been directed to ensure 100 per cent attendance at the hospitals. The DCO also directed the officials concerned to initiate a crackdown against cars with illegal green registration plates and blue revolving lights. The DCO also directed the officials concerned to ensure installation of CCTV cameras at the 115 polling stations in the district that have been declared sensitive.
