HYDERABAD: The motorcycle used in the killing of Fakhrul Islam Khan, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) candidate for the constituencies, NA-221 and PS-47, was stolen from Multan.

Khan was shot dead on Thursday while returning home from his goods transport office in Hala Naka.

An FIR against two unidentified men has been lodged in Hatri police station on the complaint of Khan’s brother, Agha Aijaz Khan.

According to SHO Agha Arsalan, the motorcycle used in the attack had been stolen from Multan in 2011.

The police recovered it in September 2011, but law enforcers could not find any record of who it was handed over to after this.
