QUETTA: Zamindar Action Committee blocked the Quetta-Karachi highway for all kinds of traffic for several hours on Tuesday against 22 hours of load-shedding in Balochistan.
The protesters shouted slogans against the Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO), saying that the long electricity outages had caused enormous damage to their crops.
They said that only two hours electricity was provided to the areas with low voltage which was not enough to even light a bulb.
