Exam Duties: Board raises vigilance staff fees

Presiding officers would now be paid Rs11,000 rather than Rs9,000.

GUJRANWALA: Invigilators in board of intermediate and secondary education examination will now be paid more for their services.

A notification in this regard was issued by the Gujranwala board on Tuesday which said that presiding officers would now be paid Rs11,000 rather than Rs9,000.

Distributing inspectors for written exams will be paid Rs12,000, distributing inspectors for practical exams Rs6,000 and mobile inspectors Rs10,000.

Examination superintendents would be paid Rs900 for a day that has both morning and evening sessions.

Deputy superintendents will get Rs700 for a two-session day and invigilators Rs550 a day.

Stipends for sweepers and those arranging seats in the halls have also been raised.
