LAHORE: Lahore High Court Chief Justice Umer Ata Bandial on Monday directed the ministry of religious affairs to file a reply on a civil miscellaneous application complaining about an increase in fares for Hajj and lack of facilities for pilgrims as part of the Hajj Policy 2013. The application was moved as part of a pending petition challenging certain provisions of the Hajj policy. The applicant had submitted that the ministry’s policy did not ensure facilities to pilgrims, despite court orders to do so. The judge adjourned the hearing till April 11.
