Cricket: Sana, Nain guide ZTBL to huge win

Nain struck a defiant 69 as the ZTBL achieved the target for the loss of just two wickets.

KARACHI: Pakistan national women’s team captain Sana Mir and vice captain Nain Abidi excelled to help ZTBL register an eight-wicket win over Karachi region at the National Women Championship yesterday. Sana and Sadia Yousuf grabbed three wickets apiece as Karachi were dismissed for 102 in 43 overs. Nain then struck a defiant 69 as the winners achieved the target for the loss of just two wickets. In other matches, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Sialkot also won their respective clashes to earn maximum points.
