The Rescue 1122, in the last three-month, trained, educated around 18,186 teachers and students in 107 schools of the city to deal with emergencies.


Community trainers of the Rescue 1122 also carried out survey of 107 vulnerable school buildings to provide emergency service in case of an eventuality.

Director General, Rescue 1122, Dr Rizwan Naseer, said that the Rescue 1122 was always ready to provide swift response to emergencies. He requested the citizens to dial the emergency number only during emergency.

“Timely call can ensure response from the emergency service in case of an incident,” he said.

“The Rescue 1122, Rawalpindi branch, rescued 3,328 victims during 3,301 emergency operations in the last three months.”

The emergency service dealt with 1,454 traffic accidents, 151 fire calls, nine building collapse incidents, 91 crime incidents, 37 special rescue operations and 1,547 medical emergencies.
