Promoting Brands: IBA organises ad making competition

IBA and Unilever organise a competition themed on ‘Enjoy the ride, love the ending’.

KARACHI: An advertisement-making competition themed on ‘Enjoy the ride, love the ending’ was organised by Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and Unilever on March 20 at the university’s main campus. Around 20 teams composed of three to five students presented their ideas to a panel of judges who included a brand manager from Unilever, Salar Farooqui, and the senior creative director at Ogilvy and Mather, Musharraf Raza. A number of colleges and universities participated in the competition. The ads were judged on the basis of their content, the quality of production and how well they had been edited. A team from ABM titled ‘Cornetto lid and Liddy’ won the first prize of Rs100,000. Prizes of Rs50,000 and Rs30,000 were distributed.
