Violation Of Code Of Conduct: Several hoardings, banners removed in Rawal Town

DCO Rawalpindi announces that operation will continue till May 10, the last day of the election campaign.

During the ongoing drive on Saturday, the Rawal Town Municipal Administration removed 2,200 political banners and 240 hoardings for violating the code of conduct announced by the Election Commission of Pakistan.   


On the directives of the district coordination officer (DCO) Rawalpindi, the Rawal Town administration started a special campaign to remove all political hoardings, banners and posters, which violated the code of conduct announced for political parties by the ECP.

Administrator Rawal Town along with a raiding team visited various areas and issued orders that all oversized political signboards, banners and posters be removed.

He announced that the operation will continue on a daily basis till May 10, the last day of the election campaign.
