Mishap Nine passengers injured as driver loses control in Nowshera

Nine people including six of a family were injured when a car flipped over on Madian Road in Pabbi, Nowshera on Saturday.


Pabbi police official Alamzeb Shah said a vehicle carrying six passengers, including two minors and two women, was en route to Peshawar when driver Taimur Shah lost control of the car, which skidded off the road in Kandi Tazadin. Three pedestrians were also injured as a result.

The injured were shifted to Mian Rasheed Shaheed Hospital where they were administered with first aid. Four of the injured, Tariq Khan, Bahar Khan, Syed Bibi and Jabbar Khan, were referred to Lady Reading Hospital because of their critical condition.

Police seized the vehicle and filed a case against Taimur Shah who is also among the injured.
