Football: Ravi, Mehran to meet in final

Ravi FC crushed Huma FC 3-0 in Naveedul Hassan Memorial Football Tournament.

KARACHI: Ravi FC and Mehran FC booked their places in the final of the Naveedul Hassan Memorial Football Tournament, as Ravi FC crushed Huma FC 3-0, while Mehran FC defeated CDA FC 4-1 in Islamabad yesterday. Nigerian player Ameeka scored two goals for Ravi FC in the first-half, whereas Abdul Rehman sealed the victory in the last minute of the match. Meanwhile, Mehran FC’s Muhammad Kashif equalised CDA FC’s fifth-minute goal only five minutes later. Muhammad Hameed then doubled the lead while Ali Naqvi also scored a goal. Kashif scored again and sealed the victory for Mehran FC in the 70th minute.
