Al-Shahbaz FC held defending champions Burma Mohammadan FC 1-1 in the 10th Karachi Football League’s opening match yesterday. Burma Mohammadan FC took the lead in the 12th minute of the match through striker Mohammad Imran but failed to defend the score as Muhammad Noor equalised in the 45th minute. Both teams walked away with one point each. Meanwhile, the match between Karachi United FC and Irfan Memorial FC was abandoned due to power outage in the 35th minute at the Baloch Mujahid Stadium in Ibrahim Hyderi. The tournament is featuring 10 clubs from Karachi.
