Ahmed said he had been receiving threats of being kidnapped or even being killed. He was also threatened that his family may also be harmed. The Punjab university official revealed that he was receiving these threats via messages on his cell phone, primarily because he was the focal official for verifying degrees of parliamentarians.
“We have been receiving threats since Supreme Court has instructed us to verify the degrees of parliamentarians. I request the Supreme Court to take action against the people who have been threatening us." Ahmed said. Failure to provide security would make it "difficult for us to work in these circumstances.”
Ahmed, along with other Punjab university officers involved in degree verification process, had filed a report with the police but allegedly a political party stopped the police from taking any action.
"We will not work if the Supreme Court fails to provide security."
Recently, many parliamentarians and politicians have been disqualified from contesting in the upcoming general elections for holding fake degrees.

Everyone knows who is the party, its PML-N. They have inducted all the corrupt politicians to win these elections but they forgot the electables should be atleast matric/Intermediate that why majority disqualifiers are from PML-N. Its high time that we tell the nation every truth.

On top of it police reluctance to apprehend such untouchables would fuel the fire towards anarchy, people facing life/property threats (no help from law) could take law in their own hands n may throw their honesty/diligence out of the window.
PU authority lodge the complain and law enforcement unit immediately investigate and catch culprit behind that threat.Please protect honest and law loving people of our country. It is real shamfull to read no action yet to be taken. why?

The government should provide such people full protection. If honest people are scared to function, then the entire country goes down the drain.
