Wasa: Computerised system inaugurated

The system will help Wasa employees conveniently draw their salaries and pensions, says MD Wasa.

FAISALABAD: Water and Sanitation Agency (Wasa) has computerised its accounts, salary and pensions system, Managing Director Syed Zahid Aziz said on Thursday. Aziz formally inaugurated the automatic system and said that the programme had been launched with help from Corporation General Solutions (Pvt) Limited. He said the system would help Wasa employees conveniently draw their salaries and pensions. The entire account system of the agency including service delivery, financial management and project management had been attached to the new automatic system, he said. He said once the staff was trained in operating the computerised system, the performance of disposal stations and sewerage related machinery could also be monitored using it.
