He called for the army to be deployed in the province, particularly in areas where the Hazara community resides.
"Good officers should be deployed. I have heard that some upright officers were sidelined and I am looking into this."
The caretaker minister said he would sidetrack those security officers who were political or integrity wise controversial or were irregular appointments.
"Free and fair elections can only happen if we provide a good security environment."
Habib was selected in Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (retd) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso’s 15-member cabinet and was officially sworn in on Tuesday.

This Malik looks to be a new version of Rehman Malik.Bhai kabhi kabhi bayan na dena sab say acha bayan hota ha. Do not shoot from the hip on your first day in office.

Go for it CJ. Surely, this should not escape your wily eyes???

Baluchistan needs political settlement between the Federal Government and the Province.
No Army is required in Baluchistan, when it can be controlled through Police, Rangers, FC etc.
Malik sahab should concentrate on providing security for elections .......

Malik Habib is a long time supporter of Nawaz Sharif and has served as IG Balochistan. We did not see anything striking in his performance. He was a routine idler and slacker. His presence will not help Pakistan in any way.
