Girls outshined boys in Punjab Examination Commission results of primary and middle schools, announced on Sunday.
The average result of primary schools remained 40 per cent while that of was the middle remained at 52 per cent.
As many as 51,000 students appeared in the primary examination while over 43,000 in the middle exams.
In the middle standard, Hirra Malik topped the district with 694 marks. In the primary examination, Ayesha Riaz secured 531 marks. Executive District Officer, Qazi Zahoorul Haq, announced the results in Danny’s High School Rawalpindi and distributed prizes among position holders.
