The commission started accepting nomination papers from March 24 and stated it would do so until March 29. At the behest of various political parties, the ECP extended the deadline by two days till March 31.
Yesterday, only around 3,600 forms had been filed with returning officers (ROs).
ECP officials had maintained there would be no further extension for the filing of nomination papers and the ROs would begin scrutinising the forms from April 1 onwards.
A scrutiny cell – established by the ECP - consists of the representatives of the commission, National Database and Registration Authority, Federal Board of Revenue, State Bank of Pakistan and National Accountability Bureau.

I am in no mood in listening to any politician.
However, in case if any politician want's me to listen as what he or she is saying then I will charge Rs.50,000 to each politician for listening a political speech while sitting at home on TV and Rs.1,00,000 for attending a Jalsa.
