Two accused in mob killing on physical remand
Special court sends two lawyers, accused of killing a marble factory owner, on physical remand for seven days.

Chaudhary Badar Islam Warraich, the Gujrat bar president, said after the meeting that the bar does not want a confrontation with the Gujrat citizens. He said that they had decided to hand over the accused lawyers to the police so that an impartial inquiry can be held into the incident. He added that the bar will honour the findings of an impartial and a transparent inquiry. The number of people arrested in connection with Tahir’s killing at the hands of a mob, allegedly in presence of police officials, has risen to 11. These include six Gujrat police officials, Naeem Sindhu and Nadeem Tahir and three members of their families.
