Football: Mehran FC cruise into semi-final

The final of the tournament will be played on April 8.

Football: Mehran FC cruise into semi-final
KARACHI: Mehran FC and Huma FC cruised into the semi-finals of the Naveedul Hassan Football Tournament as Mehran FC defeated Haidery FC 5-1 and Huma FC defeated Ghauri FC 2-0 in the quarter-finals played at the G-9/2 Football Ground in Islamabad yesterday. The month-long tournament featured 36 registered clubs from Islamabad, and according to the organisers – the Islamabad Football Association – the event encouraged youth and university clubs as well. The final of the tournament will be played on April 8. Meanwhile, Ravi FC will play Poona FC and CDA FC will take on Islamabad Academy FC in the remaining quarter-finals of the tournament today.
