The Pakistan Peoples Party on Friday allotted the party ticket for PS-53 (Tando Muhammad Khan, Sindh) constituency to Eijaz Shah Bukhari, who is the vice-president of PPP’s Tando Muhammad Khan chapter.

The move comes following PPP member Waheeda Shah’s decision to run for the polls from the same constituency as an independent candidate.

“The party has allotted National Assembly seat NA-222 (Tando Muhammad Khan-cum-Hyderabad-cum-Badin (Old H)) to Syed Naveed Qamar and out of the two provincial seats, the PS-53 has been given to me.

The decision regarding PS-54 (Hyderabad-XII) is still pending, which will be announced very soon,” Bukhari said.  PPP leader Agha Siraj Durrani said the parliamentary board of the party has nearly finalised the list of all candidates contesting the elections and has sent the list to all district and divisional presidents who will announce the names of the candidates in their respective areas.

However, sources said the board has finalised candidates for certain districts and an official announcement would be made soon.

For PPP Abul Razzaq Raja worked hard while Murtadha Baloch did nothing for the party and people in Malir. How the party ignored a hardcore worker and alloted NA 258 to a person who lives 150 days in a year in London?

Its good for PPPP not to field Mian Mithoo for NA 200 Ghotki ( or any other seat) , Otherwise PPPP would have lost almost all the Votes of Hindu Community in the country.
