Landmine explosion: Four security officials wounded

HANGU: Four security personnel were injured when their vehicle ran over a landmine in Shaheedano Dandh area of Lower Kurram Agency on Friday.

A security official said forces were patrolling in Sadda, headquarters of Lower Kurram, when their vehicle ran over a mine which exploded, injuring the personnel.

He added the vehicle was completely destroyed in the explosion while Kurram Levies personnel rushed to the site, surrounded the area and shifted the injured to Thal Combine Military Hospital in Hangu district, where they were said to be in critical condition.

The name of the injured personnel could not yet be ascertained.
